Welcome to MCNostalgia — A minecraft beta 1.7.3 server that brings back what was great about servers of old.
As minecraft has continued to evolve, and more and more items have been added to the game, something was lost along the way. It’s hard to quantify exactly what it was that was lost. Perhaps more items removes the need for additional creativity or imagination to make a concept come to life, or perhaps the broadening of the greater community of the game has impacted the social features that once were the reason for the game to thrive.
Regardless of what caused these problems, MC Nostalgia aims to host a beta 1.7.3 server that sticks to the core of “old” minecraft survival servers such as:
– Community focused
– Minimal Plugins
We will have some plugins to aid some of the common pain points with the game such as:
– /sethome and /home (1 home point per player)
– Chest and Grief Protection
– Quality of Life such as disabled fire spread
